MCCABE ANNOUNCES TRUEchange VERSION 2.6 IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT

COLUMBIA, MD - December 14, 2001 - A new version of the award-winning TRUEchange product that incorporates significantly enhanced security and usability features is now available from McCabe Software. McCabe TRUEchange 2.6 is a third-generation software configuration management product that provides an intuitive and logical approach to managing software versioning and changes. The product helps you manage the change process, speeds delivery of applications, and improves the quality and stability of software.

TRUEchange 2.6 allows secure communication through firewalls that enables users to specify the exact port that the client and server will communicate. Administrators can now easily control access to the different stages and phases of application source code through the entire development lifecycle.

According to McCabe Software' Vice President of Product Management, Michael Smith, "The new version of TRUEchange allows developers and quality assurance groups to easily manage their code interactions for maximum efficiency, while also providing a high degree of additional security.
