APRIL 18, 2005 - WARWICK, RI - McCabe Software Inc., a leading provider of Software Quality Management and Configuration Management (CM) solutions worldwide, has announced today that the world’s largest chip maker and leading manufacturer of computer, networking, and communications products, chose McCabe TRUEchange to manage system changes across their globally distributed development team.

The customer required their global development teams to be able to work together in the same repository, instantly sharing changes without the complications of having to merge. The only solution that met this requirement was McCabe TRUEchange, with secure remote access and support for disconnected development.

In order to prove this, McCabe Software used servers in Massachusetts and had the client’s West Coast and Russian developers work through a rigorous, remote proof-of-concept. The successful execution of this proof of concept resulted in many impressed developers and a new licensing agreement with McCabe.
